Organised by the UK’s Guild of Fine Food the Paros Microbrewery pilsner on Paros won a black and gold Great Taste label, becoming the only Greek beer to earn the acclaimed badge.
This year, 12,366 products were reviewed by over 500 judges, following a marathon of blind-tasting by esteemed food critics, journalists, chefs, restaurant and bar owners, writers and alcoholic beverage connoisseurs.
“We are proud that a quality Greek product gained international recognition. In our first year of production and the first time entering a competition we got our first star,” Marinos Alexandrou, co-founder of Paros Microbrewery, said in an announcement adding that
