Location: Situated in Pollonia, the Melian is 10m from the sea, 40m from the volcanic beach of Pelekouda that has pebble stones and 150m from the sandy beach of Pollonia. The port of Adamas is 10km and the airport 14km away. The centre of Pollonia, which is 250m from the hotel, has restaurants to cater for all tastes, supermarkets and local shops.
Getting around: The island and its famous beaches are easily accessible by car and public transport. Taxis or car rental and tailored tours can be arranged. Airport/ port transfer, helicopter/ jet transfers (fee required) can also be arranged.
Getting there: Although the fastest way to Milos is by sea, Super Jet does not allow cars on board and is often not permitted to sail due to mid/strong seasonal winds. For a more reliable departure to Milos, the hotel suggests an alternative high speed.
