The Greek passport once again made it to the Top 10 of the Henley Passport Index thanks to its visa-free access to 184 destinations.
Higher up in the rankings, Japan topped the quarterly index for the second year with a travel-friendly passport that allows access to 190 countries. Greece tied in 7th with Belgium, Canada and Ireland.

Henley & Partner’s passport index is one of several indexes created by firms to rank global passports according to the access they provide to their citizens. The Greek biometric passport issued in August 2006 consistently performs well in rankings.
