Aldi Supermarkets launched wine seminars for the public

Supermarket ALDI has launched its own free online wine seminar - "Aldiploma" - to help shoppers have fun rather than worrying in the wine corridor.

According to the Kantar research team, the 33% of the wine consumers, do not want to spend more than £5 on a bottle of wine.

The so-called "psychological £5 barrier" means that many people choose other alcoholic beverages instead of trying to choose a more expensive wine.

In fact, similar research has shown that two-thirds of the British, claim to be embarrassed when buying wine.

Sapio's survey, which surveyed 2,000 wine consumers about their buying habits, also found that 91% of the consumers, admits to be blunt about their knowledge of wine.

But now you can enrich your knowledge of wine in your own time using the six online video modules of the Aldiploma seminar.

In the course, you will learn about wine terminology, how to read wine labels, food mix tips, grape varieties, how to make wine and more.

To get started, just visit the Aldiploma page on the Aldi website - you don't need to create an account and you can save all the lessons for your own use.
